Ceramic Fiber Finishing Stones
Ceramic stones are perfect for polishing by hand, with rotary machines, Ultrasonic and reciprocating machines. The crystal structure of the alumina fibers give optimum strength to resist breakage and edge chipping. Because there is very little heat generated, surface finish can be attained and repeated from job to job. Use for polishing detailed, hard to reach areas such as ribs and slots. Because these ceramic stones resist breakage, they can be shaped to your requirements using a standard tool post grinder.
Heat Resistant Ceramic Fiber Finishing Stones
These stones have been designed to be used with ultrasonic polishing systems. Use them to remove tough EDM scale. The resistance temperatures these stones will accommodate are up to 200 °C, almost double that of the competitors' stones. These too, are available in a variety of sizes and grits.
Diamond Ceramic Fiber Finishing Stones
These stones are used for polishing of materials harder than 57Rc. Efficiently polish cemented carbide and hardened steel such as P-21, P-20 and other similar materials. The most effective method of using the diamond stones is with ultrasonic, reciprocating, and rotary machines. They can also replace the use of electroplated diamond files in some cases.
