D/K Technologies Turret Taps are powder metal roll-form taps designed to produce superior thread quality while eliminating chip buildup on your worktable. Multiple coating options are available to maximize tap life. Unless otherwise specified, all taps are supplied with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating.

    Detail Description
    2B | 6H Fit Typically the preferred choice for most applications.
    Undersize Used when a no-go gauge passes through the material.
    Oversize Recommended when threads may become too tight after plating.
    H | D Factor Each H or D factor represents a .0005″ increase or decrease in tap size from the standard 2B or 6H designation.
