Metric kicker spring pins are used in metal stamping dies as ejectors, lifters, and kickers. Each pin consists of a compression spring that solders to a hardened steel rod. The design helps push parts or slugs away from punches, reducing surface tension and preventing slug pulling. Keep the spring pre-load below 1/8″ and limit travel to 1/16″.
